Sesami is a recipe organizer for saving recipes, importing recipes from websites, links, shared content, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, images, PDFs, and text, creating cookbooks, building grocery lists, and planning meals. Sesami is currently distributed through the Apple App Store in the United States.

You are responsible for the information and content in your Sesami account, for keeping access to your device and account secure, and for activity that happens through your account. Sesami supports guest accounts and email-based accounts. Guest access may be more limited or easier to lose if you change devices, delete local data, or lose the session.

Sesami is not intended for children under 13. Do not use Sesami if you are not old enough to use the app under applicable law.

You keep ownership of recipes, images, notes, cookbooks, tags, grocery lists, meal plans, and other content you create, upload, save, or import into Sesami.

You grant Sesami a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, parse, format, display, and modify your content only as needed to operate, maintain, protect, and improve Sesami and provide the features you request. This license ends when your content is deleted, except where retention is needed for backups, logs, security, legal, support, or billing records.

Sesami can help import recipes or recipe-like content from third-party websites and platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, when you choose to share, paste, upload, or otherwise provide that content. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to import, save, use, edit, and share any content you provide to Sesami.

Using Sesami does not give you ownership of third-party content or permission to violate copyright, privacy rights, platform rules, or other third-party terms. Sesami is not responsible for third-party websites, platform availability, private or blocked content, removed content, or changes made by those third parties.

Sesami uses AI-assisted and automated parsing to turn links, webpages, shared content, YouTube descriptions or transcripts, images, PDFs, and text into editable recipes. These results may be incomplete, incorrect, or misleading.

Always review imported or generated recipes before relying on them. You are responsible for verifying ingredients, allergens, substitutions, nutrition, serving sizes, cooking times, temperatures, storage, doneness, food safety, and whether a recipe is suitable for your dietary, medical, or personal needs. Sesami does not provide medical, nutrition, food-safety, or professional cooking advice.

Some Sesami features may require Sesami Premium, a subscription, or available free trial usage. Premium features may include recipe imports, meal-plan generation, cloud sync, or other features shown in the app.

Sesami subscriptions and in-app purchases are offered through the Apple App Store. RevenueCat helps Sesami present paywalls, manage customer center flows, verify subscription status, and unlock premium access. Prices, billing periods, trial details, and renewal terms are shown in the app before purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple ID or Apple App Store account settings before the current billing period ends. Deleting Sesami or deleting your Sesami account does not cancel an active subscription. Refund requests and payment issues are handled by Apple according to Apple's rules.

You agree not to misuse Sesami. For example, you may not:

• use Sesami for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity;
• upload, import, save, or share content that you do not have the right to use;
• infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• interfere with Sesami systems, security, rate limits, subscriptions, or access controls;
• reverse engineer, copy, modify, or create derivative versions of the app except where allowed by law;
• use automated scraping, bulk requests, or other activity that burdens or disrupts Sesami or third-party services; or
• attempt to access another person's account, data, device, or content without permission.

Sesami may open, link to, request content from, or rely on third-party websites, platforms, app-store services, AI providers, hosting providers, payment and subscription services, analytics, crash reporting, and other service providers. Sesami does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, policies, availability, security, fees, or changes.

You can request account deletion in the app by opening Settings, selecting Account, and choosing Delete Account. Account deletion is intended to delete your Sesami account and cloud data, including saved recipes, recipe images, cookbooks, tags, grocery data, meal-plan data, and premium trial usage data. Some records may remain where needed for security, legal, support, billing, operational logs, or backup purposes.

You may stop using Sesami at any time. Sesami may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create risk for other users or the service, or if Sesami stops offering all or part of the service.

Sesami, including the app, website, brand, logo, design, software, features, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by Sesami or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any Sesami intellectual property rights to you.

Sesami is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sesami disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

Sesami does not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, secure, compatible with every device or operating system, or that imported, AI-assisted, user-created, or third-party recipe content will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for your needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sesami will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, service interruption, device issues, third-party content, subscription platform issues, or harm arising from reliance on recipes or AI-assisted outputs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sesami's total liability for any claim related to the app, website, or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Sesami for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Sesami may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, and the Last updated date will be changed when the Terms change. Your continued use of Sesami after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
